God Moves at the Wild Game Banquet

Thanks to all who prayed for me this past weekend while I was in Bland County, Virginia, speaking at the Mechanicsburg Christian Church’s 11th Wild Game Banquet. The event was a huge success! They had a record attendance in excess of 850 people over the two evenings. We ate wild hog, moose, alligator, deer, rabbit, bear and many more wild game dishes. It was delicious. My favorite was the wild turkey wrapped in bacon strips.

I had the opportunity to meet a man who was a wild mushroom hunter and I also met a man and his family who broke ties with the Amish community. He has even learned how to drive a car! That was an interesting conversation. As many of you know, I have a fascination with the Amish lifestyle.

My highlight was that 118 people prayed to receive Christ in their life over the weekend. Now, that’s what I am talking about… Go God! That small church (Mechanicsburg Christian Church) is doing an amazing work in their community, and I am grateful to have had the privilege to come alongside of them.

Please let me know if you hear of any opportunities for me to speak in your local church or community event. I enjoy sharing my passion for First Responders and I am always game for sharing the love of Jesus.
